《五月雪》是由張吉安導演、編劇並領銜主演的2023年馬來西亞歷史電影，它曾在2020年的金馬創投會議中獲得CNC法國電影現金獎。此片在2023年的第80屆威尼斯影展平行單元「威尼斯日」國際競賽中進行了世界首映，並被選為2023年台北金馬影展的開幕影片。該片同年在第60屆金馬獎總共獲得了9項提名。

《五月雪》描述了上世紀50年代著名的「普長春班」粵劇戲班的興衰，透過這個故事，描繪出南洋華人在異鄉半世紀的風雨飄搖。在這部電影的拍攝中，獲得了台北市電影委員會、新加坡電影委員會以及馬來西亞當地的多個機構的資金支持。這部電影的演出陣容包括馬來西亞國寶級女星蔡寶珠、台大外文系高材生大馬女星陳俐杏，以及演出《幻土》東山再起的新加坡男星俞宏榮等演技派演員。 《五月雪》用深情而動人的故事，讓更多的人從馬來西亞的「513事件」認識和了解現今中民主政治和民族多元與和諧共處的重要性。
Snow in Midsummer is set in Kuala Lumpur at two different periods of time: first on May 13, 1969, and then, on May 13, 2018; it revolves around Ah Eng, a young woman, and her mother who lose contact with the father and brother of the first amid political riots, in the first part, and, in a second chapter, the remembrance of this moment 49 years later.
